Description

Super yummy apple cheddar panini!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Slices Whole Grain Bread
  • ½ whole Gala Apple, Sliced Paper Thin
  • ¼ cups Tillamook Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cups Coarse Dijon Mustard, For Dipping

Preparation

Lightly butter 1 side of each slice of bread (I love the Alpine Valley Loaf from Costco).

Heat a small skillet or grill pan to get the panini look over medium heat. Place the buttered side of bread #1 down in the hot skillet. Layer bread with half the cheese, the apples then the remaining cheese. Top with bread #2, buttered side up. Grill for 1- 1 1/2 minutes per side, pressing on the sandwich (to get grill marks) until golden brown on each side. Remove, slice, dip in Dijon and EAT!

Makes 1 serving. :)
