A different take on tacos that will please the whole family.
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium saute pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Once it’s browned, remove excess fat with a spoon. Add the taco seasoning and water and stir to combine. Heat until it starts to thicken. Remove from heat.
In a 9×13 lightly greased casserole dish press crescent rolls in the bottom. Spread meat evenly over the dough. If choosing to use sour cream then spread that over the beef. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Finish with crushed up Frito chips (I crush them in a zip-lock bag with a rolling pin).
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
