Because there are just two of us, we never actually buy a whole ham—too many leftovers! Instead, I opt for ham steaks.
Place ham steak in a small baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top; pour on pineapple juice. Cover with foil and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes, or until heated through.
Serves 4.

There is only two of us too, so slices/steaks are the way to go.
Being from TN we have country hams, they are salt cured and very salty. I usually cook them in brown sugar with a little water . Sometimes to counter act the salt I will cook them in cola. This works well to sweeten them up. You can also rinse them in warm water before cooking.
