Description

I love this sauce and am trying to find as many ways to use it as possible! These spare ribs are juicy and so, so flavorful!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 pounds Boneless Spare Ribs, Trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Diced
  • 1-½ cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup Honey
  • ½ cups Soy Sauce

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350F.

Heat a pan over medium high heat; add olive oil and let it get warm. While the pan heats up, season both side of the ribs with the onion and garlic powder. Once the pan is heated, brown the ribs.

While the ribs are browning, melt butter in a medium-sized sauce pan, on medium heat. Add diced garlic to the melted butter and cook for a minute or two. Add in ketchup, honey and soy sauce, stir together well and bring to a boil. Once it heats to a boil, reduce heat and stir well.

Transfer browned ribs to a baking dish and pour sauce over them till well covered.

Cover the dish with foil and cook for 30 minutes, uncover and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes. The ribs are done when a meat thermometer reads 160ºF.

Serve over rice with leftover sauce.
