I was recently introduced to this recipe, and it is so simple and a nice change of pace.
Brown the ground beef with the diced onion. Drain fat.
Add soup and simmer until most liquid has dissolved. Add remaining ingredients, adjusting to taste!
Serve over toasted hamburger buns.

My mom’s side of the family has always made them this way and they’re so good! I love sloppy joe’s both this way and the regular way (Manwich style). Gives you a nice change of pace!

Oh my Goodness! This is the exact recipe my mom used to make and it brings back wonderful memories! I have never seen it anywhere else. Thank you for posting it.

Oh my goodness, this is interesting! I can’t wait to try it. Unfortunately, I’m the only one in my family who really likes sloopy joes. My daughter will our Sloppy Jose’s (recipe posted on TK) but I don’t know about this. We’ll have to try it soon!
