Description

Delicious and easy dish that will impress your family and guests. Be sure to get a good cut of steak. It makes a huge difference in the taste!

Ingredients

  • 1 piece Flank Steak, Tenderized
  • 1 clove Garlic, Pressed
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter, Softened
  • ¼ cups Butter
  • ½ cups Onion, Chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1-½ cup White Rice, Cooked
  • ½ cups Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • ½ cups Or More Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger, Peeled And Finely Chopped
  • ¾ cups Water
  • ¾ cups Dry Red Wine

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350

Prepare steak.
Wipe flank steak with a damp paper towel. Rub both sides with garlic, brush with soy sauce and sprinkle with pepper. Lay steak flat and spread with 1 tablespoon softened butter.

Prepare stuffing.
In a large skillet, on medium high heat, saute onion and garlic in butter. Remove from heat. Stir in rice, parsley, cheese, salt, and pepper. Use to STUFF FLANK STEAK.

Stuff Flank Steak.
Place a thin layer of stuffing on the prepared steak. Roll up and secure with toothpicks.

Combine water and wine and pour over steak. Sprinkle with chopped fresh ginger. Bake steak in 350 degree oven for approximately 45 – 60 minutes. Test meat to ensure it is done.

Place remaining stuffing in greased casserole dish. Pour some of the wine/water mixture over it and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake rice mixture in casserole dish in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

If you want more rice, just increase the ingredients accordingly.

We cook flank steak a lot and this is one of the best recipes I have found for it. It is so moist that it melts in your mouth and the rice on the side is very yummy. My husband says we will fix it again!
