Growing up Italian always means pasta, and lots of it. Here is a recipe that calls for a few extra ingredients to add a huge burst of flavor to an everyday dish.
Defrost and peel skin off brats. Cook bratwurst in a pan the same way you would cook ground beef. Brown and crumble brats.
Slice or dice your jalapenos.
While the brats are still cooking, stir in jalapenos. This gets the spiciness throughout your meat!
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions.
Make sure to drain your pasta when finished cooking. Place into a clean pan.
To make the sauce, pour your favorite tomato sauce in a pan and warm it over medium heat. Stir in olive oil and cheese.
Once the bratwurst and jalapeno mix has finished cooking, stir it into the sauce/cheese mixture. Continue cooking over medium heat until cheese is melted and begins to boil.
Pour the sauce onto your pasta and enjoy with your favorite sides!
