Meatballs with a little kick.
Combine ground turkey/beef, sausage, bread crumbs, cheese, eggs, onion, garlic, red pepper (if using), salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Blend ingredients with your hands. Form into 2-inch balls and place in a slow cooker. Spoon your favorite tomato sauce over the meatballs to cover.
Cover and cook on low until cooked through, about 4 to 5 hours.
