A quick, easy and delicious twist on spaghetti. If you have not had it … try it, you will be hooked. I know I know – 6 tbls. butter is a bit Paul Deen-ish but this is a treat.
Melt butter in skillet. Add garlic and onions and saute over med. low heat until tender, but not brown.
Stir in flour until smooth and golden.
Combine drained clam liquid, half and half, pepper, thyme and salt in a saucepan. Heat to just below boiling point.
Add clams and the onion mixture and cook until smooth and thickened.
Serve over prepared pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan if desired. I also like to adorn this with some fresh chopped parsley to serve. A huge Yum!
