This is a great chicken marinade. It is fast and easy but full of flavor.
Combine ketchup (I don’t use the whole bottle, just to taste), sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and liquid smoke and mix well. Cut up vegetables and chicken into pieces (large enough that they will stay on your skewers) and put on your skewers. We put the bell peppers on one skewer and the chicken on another because the peppers cook faster. You can use any color of bell peppers, red onions, tomatoes, pineapple – almost anything, really, and it tastes great! Continuously lather the skewers with marinade on all sides while grilling. Grill each skewer over medium heat until done.

This was sooooo good.. I made it last night for dinner and all my boys loved it.. I used yellow onion, bell pepper and yellow squash, took your advice and put the veggies on one skewer and chicken on the other. YUM! YUM! YUM! I added a little bit of Sriracha to the mix to kick up the heat and this recipe is going in the forever recipe box.. Thanks for sharing..
