Making large balls of meatloaf baked in a large cast iron skillet gives more of that yummy crust in every bite! It makes serving easy too!
Mix sauce by combining the waffle syrup and ketchup.
Mix together in a large bowl the ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, oats, milk and 1 cup of the “sauce” mixture. Add the Worcestershire, salt, mustard, garlic powder and herbs. Mix together.
Roll mixture into balls and place in a large cast iron skillet. I usually make 7 large balls. Pour remaining sauce over all the meatloaf balls.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1-1 1/4 hours.
