Sirloin steak with a jalapeno puree sauce.
1. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Drizzle some oil into the pan, if using.
2. Place BBQ sauce, green onion, parsley, jalapeno and garlic in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Season with salt and pepper and chill in fridge until ready to use.
3. In a bowl combine oil, parsley or cilantro, thyme and pepper flakes and mix well.
4. Grill steak for 4 to 5 minutes per side then remove steak to a platter and let it cool for 5 minutes.
5. Thinly slice steak against the grain then toss strips into the oil mixture, mix and season with salt and pepper.
6. Toast buns as preferred then add spinach, meat, jalapeno BBQ sauce and a cheese slice.
7. Enjoy!
