Rich and creamy yet light an delicate … a tasty seafood Alfredo for any night of the week!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • ½ cups Butter
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 1-½ cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley, Dried
  • 2 Tablespoons Capers
  • 6 ounces, weight Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • FOR THE REST:
  • 1 pound Penne Pasta
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 pound Lump Crab Meat, Or Imitation Crab
  • 12 ounces, weight Raw Shrimp, Peeled, Deveined And Tail Off
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley, Dried
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Pepper
  • 2 pinches Crushed Red Pepper

Preparation

Begin by cooking the penne pasta (or other good sauce-hugging pasta) per the package directions. Drain.

For the sauce:
While pasta is cooking, melt 1/2 cup butter and cream cheese in saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently. Once melted, slowly add in the milk. Mix in garlic powder, lemon pepper, parsley, capers and Parmesan cheese. Allow it to thicken over medium heat (slow boil) for about 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat.

For the rest:
In a large deep skillet combine 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Melt over medium high heat.

Once melted, add in crab, shrimp, minced garlic, parsley, lemon pepper, and crushed red pepper. Toss to evenly coat the seafood with the seasonings and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the shrimp have become pink. Add sauce to the pan with the seafood and stir to combine.

Add in drained pasta and mix to coat each noodle in the creamy sauce.
Garnish with some parsley and more Parmesan to serve!
