A favorite chicken dish in Hawaii. This is super easy, super fast and super tasty. Serve with white rice (medium-grain). I store the sauce and chicken separately so the chicken won’t get too salty. You can use the sauce on your rice and veggies.
1. Put all of the ingredients except chicken into a large pot and bring to a boil.
2. Add chicken to the sauce.
3. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.
4. Turn chicken thighs over and cook for another 5 minutes.
5. Turn stove off and let the chicken sit for 10 minutes.
6. Serve with white rice.
