Crusty deli rolls stuffed with ham, lots of cheese, and a savory mayo-mustard. These paninis are simple and come together in minutes. Just perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.
Preheat your panini press.
Slice rolls in half horizontally. In a small bowl mix together mustard, mayo, parsley, chives and poppy seeds. Taste it and adjust ingredients however you wish.
To assemble, spread about a tablespoon of the mustard sauce on the cut side of the top and bottom buns. Lay one or two slices of deli meat on the bottom buns, then add one or two slices of cheese. Place the top half of the buns on top and transfer sandwiches to the preheated panini press (you’ll probably have to cook these in batches). Cook until the bread is toasted and the meat is warm all the way through. Remove sandwich from the grill and repeat cooking the rest. Serve immediately.
If you don’t have a panini press, you can put the sandwich on a baking tray and put it under the broiler, without the top half of the bun until the cheese is melted.
