Prime rib at home: it’s easier than you think!
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Place the prime rib (standing rib roast) bone side down in a roasting pan. Rub the whole roast with olive oil, sea salt, rosemary and garlic. (You can also get a rosemary/garlic seasoning (Tones); don’t be afraid, it doesn’t all have to be fresh.)
Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or about 15-20 minutes per pound.
