Description

Is it a pizza? Or is it a burger? As Hannah Montana would say… It’s the best of both worlds baby!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Beef (cooked & Drained)
  • 1 jar Pizza Sauce
  • 1 can Spam (grated Or Shredded)
  • 16 ounces, weight Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 bag Hamburger Buns

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.

Brown and drain ground beef. Put it back in skillet on medium heat. Add jar of pizza sauce and stir.

Take your spam which has been grated or shredded (using a cheese grater) and add it in. Then add the cheese and once it’s all good and melty you can take it off the stove.

On a baking sheet, spread out your hamburger buns. You will use a large spoon or ice cream scooper to cover the bun with meat mixture. So for 8 buns you should get 16 pizza burgers.

Once you have covered all buns, put them in the oven for about 20 mins or so until they are nice and toasty looking. Sprinkling extra cheese on top is optional.

These are quite versatile so feel free to add ingredients such as onions, olives, peppers. Don’t leave out the Spam though. This is the only time I ever eat Spam and it’s because this recipe just really needs it. Use ground turkey if you must, but don’t leave out the Spam!
