A hearty sandwich made with thinly sliced sirloin, topped with peppers, onions and melted pepper Jack cheese, all sandwiched together in a 12″ ciabatta loaf.
To a hot skillet, add the sirloin. During cooking, keep shredding meat with a fork into bite size pieces. Cook until no longer pink and meat temperature reaches 160ºF, about 12-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in another skillet add butter, peppers and onions. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Slice ciabatta in half lengthwise, add cooked sirloin, peppers, onions, jalapenos and cheese. Place sandwich in oven and bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
