This is an unexpected and extremely tasty burger!
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lay bacon out on sheet tray and bake for 20–30 minutes, until crisp. Remove bacon from sheet tray and drain on paper towel.
Form hamburger patties and season with salt and pepper. Lightly butter cut sides of buns.
Grill hamburgers. While hamburgers are cooking, toast buns by placing cut side down on grill grate. Watch buns carefully because they will burn quickly. Toast buns until golden.
After hamburgers are cooked, fry eggs, over easy, in a skillet.
Assemble hamburgers by spreading peanut butter on both halves of buns. Then stack the hamburger, egg, bacon, and top bun.
Recipe inspired by a similar burger at the Blue Moose restaurant in Grand Forks, ND.

OK, that is awesome. I’ve done plenty with peanut butter on a burger, but never thought about the egg component. Excellent!
