Description

Very quick and simple recipe that can be completed in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Smoked Sausage, Halved Lengthwise And Cut Into 1-inch Chunks
  • 1 whole Large Onion, Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 28 ounces, fluid Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth
  • ¼ cups Water
  • 1 pound Cut Spaghetti
  • 1 box (10 Oz. Size) Frozen Chopped Spinach, Thawed
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • ⅓ cups Milk Or Heavy Cream

Preparation

1. In a 4-quart Dutch oven cook sausage, onion, and garlic in hot oil over medium-high heat until sausage is lightly browned and onion is tender.

2. Add broth and water to Dutch oven; bring to boiling. Add pasta; cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add spinach and pepper; cook about 1 minute more or until spinach is warmed through. Stir in milk. Serve immediately.
