A cheesy pie with onions and pasta that’s perfect for brunch!
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Combine the flour, melted butter and 1 cup of the grated cheddar and press into a nine inch pie pan.
Sauté onions in 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat until transparent.
Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
Combine 1 cup of the grated cheddar cheese, onions, pasta, eggs, milk, salt and pepper, and pour into the pie crust.
Sprinkle with ½ cup grated cheddar cheese.
Bake for 55 minutes.

Hi Jerri,
Yup, just 1.5 ounces – it’s not a lot of pasta! If you click on the Related Blog Post to view the post, you’ll see I weighed it on a kitchen scale… (I don’t know how to attach a photo here so click the link to my blog… just scroll down about halfway and you’ll see what I mean)
