Description

The parmesan gives the pork a nice (and slightly salty) crunchy coating and keeps the pork juicy.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 2  Eggs
  • ½ cups Plain Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cups Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 4 whole (about 5 Oz. Size) Boneless Pork Chops

Preparation

1. Heat oven to 375ºF. Cover a broiler pan with foil and spray the foil with nonstick spray.

2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour with 1/2 teaspoon salt and some pepper. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with some salt and pepper. In another dish, combine the bread crumbs, cheese, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

3. Dredge the pork chops in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the bread crumb mixture. Place the dredged chops on a rimmed baking sheet or baking dish.

4. Bake the pork chops for 15 minutes, flip them over, and cook for another 5 minutes.

5. Switch the oven to broil and cook for another 5-10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

I am not a fan of pork chops, but my husband loves them. These were a little too bland for us and took much longer to cook than what was suggested.

I made these for a casual dinner with friends – huge hit, even with a friend who doesn’t really like pork. The breading was perfectly crispy and the flavor of it with the pork was amazing! Definitely a keeper!

I don’t even really care for pork chops, and I liked these! Super easy to make, but I did need an additional 5 minutes to get the chops cooked through before I switched the oven to broil. These were a hit with my husband, which makes them a hit with me. Thank you!
