Description

The most delicious, quick, easy and healthy Oven Baked Healthy Vegan Falafel!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (410g Size) Chickpeas, Drained And Rinsed
  • 4 Tablespoons Plain Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Paprika
  • ½ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • ⅓ cups Fresh Parsley Leaves
  • ⅓ cups Fresh Dill Leaves
  • 4 Tablespoons Spring Onions, Sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil, Extra For Brushing

Preparation

Preheat oven to 180°C (355ºF). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pulse all the ingredients together in a blender until the mixture can be formed into balls with your hands. It should be fairly smooth—don’t let it the mixture get too mushy or it won’t hold its shape.

Form the mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Brush each ball with a little olive oil and place on the lined baking sheet in rows.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until falafel balls are golden. Serve on salad, in wraps, pita bread, sandwiches, lettuce wraps or shape into patties and serve in bread rolls.
