This recipe was my first experiment in baking fresh-caught bass. And I loved it! You can also use store-bought mild fish such as cod or tilapia. But that’s not as fun!
Preheat oven to 450 F.
In a small bowl, stir together garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, black pepper and salt. Place fish in a glass baking dish. Rub with seasoning mix. Bake 15-20 minutes, until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Optional: garnish with lemon wedges.
