Five ingredients, one pan, and an amazing array of simple but sophisticated flavors: this quick dinner is your new go-to! Pair with a bottle of wine to class up the end to any busy weekday.
Preheat your oven to 425 F. Clean your chicken and arrange it in baking dish. Add the green beans to the side. Pour the melted butter over the chicken. Season the chicken with the herbs, salt and pepper (see note).
Cook for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 F and the juices are no longer pink. Take pan out of the oven and let chicken rest, covered with a sheet of foil, for 10 minutes. Serve by squeezing some fresh lemon juice over everything.
Note: Optional ingredients include whole peeled garlic cloves, shallots, quartered onions and potatoes (you can cook those in the same dish—just arrange them in another row next to the beans or chicken).
