A delicious and sophisticated ham and cheese sandwich. Sharp cheddar, prosciutto, and marinaded mozzarella balls come together to make a memorable and quick meal option.
Cut French bread rolls into sandwich halves.
Spread mayonnaise on one side of the bread and mustard on the other. Cover the bottom half with overlapping slices of sharp cheddar cheese.
Divide the prosciutto in half and layers in loose folds over the slices of cheese. Place the mozzarella balls over the prosciutto, and drizzle with some of the garlic and herb marinade.
Cover with the top half of bread. Cut in half and serve.
Note: This recipe is for large sandwiches. For some, a whole sandwich may represent two portions.
