I made half the recipe last night and used ground soy instead of meat and my meat eating hubby LOVED it and went for seconds!

Description
I’m not a fan of canned sloppy joe sauce … so I made these. Delicious!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ground Beef
- 2 cups Ketchup
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 4 teaspoons Regular Mustard (i.e. French's)
- 4 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
- ¼ cups Brown Sugar
- ½ cups Water
- 16 slices Texas Toast
Preparation
1) Brown meat in a medium-sized saucepan and drain.
2) Add all the other ingredients (except toast) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until sauce thickens and reduces.
Serve on Texas toast.

I made these a while ago, but my husband loved them! I followed the recipe exactly (except for the Texas Toast) and they were delicious. Thank you so much for sharing. This is a keeper in our home.
