A healthy alternative to a family favorite. It’s not only leaner, but boasts a bunch of whole grain fiber. Has a great meaty texture and stretches your food budget. It tastes great, and the kids love it.
Cook Kashi grains according to package directions (boil in 2 cups water or broth, cook on medium for 25 minutes).
While Kashi cooks, brown ground turkey in a large skillet with diced onion and bell pepper. Add cooked Kashi to skillet and combine all with your favorite Sloppy Joe sauce.
Serve on a multi-grain bun with a bit of your favorite cheese.
