Life is so hecic. Work all day, get the kids to their activities and then sometime later in the evening, try to feed everyone. In the earlier years, when we were running crazy, we came up with this simple recipe for quick, easy, weeknight suppers.
1. Prepare pasta according to directions on box.
2. While pasta is boiling, brown turkey meat in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. When pasta is complete, drain thoroughly then put it back into the pot. Add pasta sauce and mix in the cooked turkey meat. Blend well and heat over medium heat until warm.
4. Options: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving or add a drained can of sliced mushrooms into the mixture when you add the sauce.
