My wife loves fish tacos and I hate fish, so when we developed the recipe for Shrimp Mission Viejo, we decided to shove the shrimp into a tortilla shell and see if we couldn’t come up with a compromise. We did!
1. Serve the Shrimp Mission Viejo, Jo’s Cilantro and Lime Sauce, shredded cabbage, lime slices, and the warm tortilla shells on separate serving plates.
2. To construct the tacos, each diner lays a tortilla on his/her plate, places 4 of the large shrimp on the tortilla, followed by shredded cabbage, then some of the cilantro/lime sauce followed by a squeeze of lime; fold the tortilla into a “U” shape and eat.
