Fresh salmon basted with sweet and tangy maple BBQ sauce and broiled until flaky and delicious
1. Combine all ingredients except salmon and scallions in a Ziploc bag for marinating, reserving 1/2 cup of marinade for basting
2. Add salmon fillets to the marinade and let sit in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
3. Drain and discard marinade.
4. Preheat oven to broil (500ºF), place fillets in a pan.
5. Broil salmon 4 inches from heat for 5 minutes, remove from oven and baste with remaining 1/2 cup of marinade.
6. Broil for another 5 minutes.
7. Garnish with fresh, chopped scallions.
