Easy chicken pot pie with a KICK, thanks to the French fried onions. Simple to prepare, and simply sinful to eat.
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F).
2. Boil, bake, or saute chicken breasts until done. Cut into bite size pieces. You can also use a rotisserie chicken or pre-cooked chicken breasts. Place in greased 9×13 baking dish. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper.
3. Add vegetables, 1/2 cup cheese, and 1/2 can of French fried onions to the baking dish.
4. In a small bowl, mix soup with milk. Pour over chicken mixture.
5. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Mixture should be bubbly. If it’s not, cook uncovered for an additional 5 minutes.
6. Cut crescent rolls into long strips. Arrange on chicken mixture in a lattice form. Bake uncovered for an additional 5-10 minutes until lightly browned.
7. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions. Bake for additional 3-5 minutes to melt cheese and crisp onions.
8. DIG IN.

We need your help. Would you go into the ingredients list and for all of the boxes, containers and cans please add in the specific size (in ounces) of the package (veggies, onions, soup and rolls)? We’ve got a lot of members overseas, in places where packaging varies, so these specifics really help.
When done, click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted.
Thanks,

Veddy nice! My husband had three helpings of this. And he is NOT a fan of Chicken Pot pie…I refused to tell him what I was making so he would eat it. And eat it he did!!

Wowsers!
This is going into my Recipe Box!
Can’t wait for it to go from my Recipe Box onto my table.
Do you use the small or large can of onion rings?
I’m hoping small . . . that way I can buy the large and nibble on the extra while the chicken cooks.
Thank you for sharing!
