This recipe uses smoked sausage. My grandkids love it!
Cook and drain lasagna noodles. Lay out on paper towels and let cool.
Cut smoked sausage links in half, then cut a slit in each piece. Stuff 1/2 slice of mozzarella cheese into each sausage. Place each sausage at the end of a lasagna noodle and roll up.
In a 9 x 13 baking dish (I lightly spray first), spoon enough spaghetti sauce to barely cover bottom of dish. Place roll-ups, seam side down, in dish. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce over roll-ups, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella.
Bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes, until cheese is melted. Top with basil before serving.
