Chunks of slow roasted beef goodness. Easy go-to meal when you are having company or will be looking for leftovers in the days to come.
Place a roast, frozen or thawed, in a crock pot. Pour beer over the roast, followed by the Italian seasoning packets. I use one packet per two pounds of roast. Cook overnight on high or for at least 6 hours.
Tear meat apart and remove any bones or excess fat. Cook an additional 2-3 hours on high or up to 8 hours on low.
Serve on bread or buns of your choice. Provolone cheese is a great addition to the sandwich.

So good!! This went into my “keeper” book instantly and now I make it all the time. I use Good Seasons Italian Dressing packets.

Wyogal, I’m guessing she means something like Good Seasons Italian Dressing packets.

I have it in the slow cooker now! I’m not sure what “Italian Seasoning Mix” you used. I put some dried onion and a good amount of Italian Seasoning in, along with some fennel seeds. I have started some sourdough bread, will make into rolls. Yummy!!!!

Hmm, that’s a new twist on my italian beef recipe. Will have to give that a try!
