I have made this meatloaf for years and have had rave reviews from family and guests to potluck-goers. Everyone has asked “How did you make this?” I use the same recipe for meatballs. Try it. I think you will like it, too.
Place garlic flavored chips in a gallon-sized zipper bag and crush with a rolling pin, or place in a food processer in small batches and crush. You want some pieces, not fine crumbs.
Add these to the ground beef in a large bowl and add cream of celery soup, onion soup mix, egg and ketchup. Combine thoroughly and form into a loaf.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximatly one hour.

I made a variation of this for dinner and it was very good. I didn’t have cream of celery soup so I used cream of mushroom, and used Stacey’s pita chips in place of the bagel chips.

I used this recipe for a “meatcake” that I made for a friend’s birthday. I divided the recipe into two large, flat patties and baked them for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Frosted with mashed potatoes and with birthday wishes written in ketchup, it was proclaimed to be his best birthday cake ever. The meatloaf was delicious. I would make it again, for dinner or for another “cake.”
