Jumbo shrimp in sage-infused butter. Delicate and delicious.
Heat a grill pan on medium-high and coat it with cooking spray.
In a saucepan on low heat add butter and 2 sage leaves and simmer for 2 minutes. Shut off heat and set pan aside.
On a work surface cut a slit open 1/2 way down the length of the thawed shrimp and add them into a large bowl. Add olive oil and stir shrimp well. Add black pepper and paprika and mix gently.
Add a whole sage leaf into the slit in each shrimp then put the shrimp into the melted butter in the saucepan for 2 minutes, to marinate.
Remove them from the butter and place shrimp on the hot grill. Cook for 3 minutes on the first side. Before turning shrimp over use a brush and coat the top side of the shrimp with sage infused butter. Flip and cook the other side for 3 minutes. Make sure to brush the shrimp with the butter when you turn shrimp to grill other side.
Remove shrimp from the grill. Remove sage leaf from each grilled shrimp and dig in! They are delicious and delicate.
