Goat cheese and Nutella together … sound weird? It was. But also incredibly delicious, especially if you’re already a lover of both.
In a small bowl, stir the Nutella and cheese together.
Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place 4 slices on your work surface, buttered side down. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the 4 slices and place the remaining 4 bread slices on top, buttered side up.
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Put the sandwiches in the skillet, cover and cook for 2 minutes or until the undersides are golden brown and the cheese has softened.
Uncover and turn the sandwiches with the spatula. Cook for 2 more minutes or until the undersides are golden brown. Serve immediately.
Note: unlike most grilled cheese, you do not want to press down to flatten or the filling will ooze out.
