Description

This burger is super moist and full of flavor. The cream cheese spread goes perfectly with the green chile burger. And definitely don’t forget the jalapenos.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE SPREAD:
  • 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Jalapeno Juice (from Jar Of Jalapenos)
  • 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
  • FOR THE BURGERS:
  • 1-½ pound Ground Beef Chuck
  • 4 ounces, weight Canned Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 Tablespoon Dried Minced Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1-¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • FOR THE ASSEMBLY:
  • 6  Hamburger Buns
  • Olive Oil For Brushing On Buns Prior To Toasting
  • Jalapeno Slices For Topping.

Preparation

In a small bowl stir together the ingredients for the spread. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

In a large bowl mix together the ingredients for the burger and form into 6 equal-sized patties. I just use my hands to combine.

Cook patties on a preheated grill or in a skillet heated over medium-high heat. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium, or until desired doneness.

Serve each patty on a burger bun that has been drizzled with olive oil and toasted. Top with some sliced jalapenos and plenty of spread.

YUM!!! My husband and I enjoyed these burgers. They were very moist and flavorful. The cream cheese spread was creamy with just a little bit of a kick. We can’t wait to make them again. Thank you for sharing!
