The union of crispy sourdough and ooey gooey melted cheese. I now pronounce you … delicious!
1. Butter one side of each slice of bread and place butter side down in a frying pan on medium heat.
2. Place one slice of cheese on each piece of bread, top with tomato (and alfalfa, if you want a hint of nutty flavor) and then place a third slice of cheese on top of one tomato slice.
3. Cover the pan to melt the cheese faster and ensure the bread doesn’t burn.
4. When cheese is melted and bread is a crispy golden brown, transfer slices to a plate and sandwich together.
5. Enjoy!

This sounds so delicious! I usually make my grilled cheese with sauerkraut, but I’m going to try yours for lunch today!
