Sometimes you need a fresh kick in the pants, like green apple on whole grain bread with albacore tuna and provolone.
Using home baked or purchased whole wheat/whole grain bread, lay out four slices.
Mix mayo (use more or less, depending on your taste) with tuna.
Lay a slice of provolone on each slice of bread.
Spoon tuna mixture onto each sandwich.
Very, very thinly slice Granny Smith apple and place one or two slices on each sandwich (you can use more, but just make sure slices are extremely thin).
Slap that sandwich together! The flavors of tuna on whole grain with provolone and the tart Granny Smith are refreshing.
