I’m not a fan of Velveeta, but this dish is the bomb. I couldn’t imagine using anything else for it.
In a large skillet, fry the bacon until crispy. Boil the noodles and melt the cheese. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the noodles, cheese and bacon together. Spread into the pan and top with the 12 tomato slices. On each tomato slice, add a small pat of butter. Cover the dish with the crushed potato chips and bake for 25 minutes.
