Fettucini Alfredo is a classic, but the addition of some softened goat cheese gives it that little extra kick. Topping it with spicy Italian sausage, some tomatoes fresh from the garden, and some sliced black olives raises this to a whole new level of goodness!
Remove casing from sausages and place meat in a large skillet, breaking sausage up into small pieces.
In a small sauce pan, add cream, butter, parmesan/romano cheese, goat cheese and simmer on medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture begins to thicken (about 20 minutes).
Boil water and cook pasta according to directions on the package. Drain pasta.
Scoop servings of pasta onto a plate and drop sausage on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped tomatoes and sliced olives. Drizzle Alfredo sauce over the top of the sausage and vegetables.
