Very good flavor! I used deer and elk steaks instead of beef and no one knew it wasn’t beef. I’m so glad I tried this, everyone gobbled them up.

I made these last night and had trouble with my coating. After frying, the batter seemed to soften up even though I had used a rack as stated. It just didn’t stay crisp…kinda disappointed with that but the flavor was fantastic. I like the whole concept of these but wish my coating would have stayed more crisp.

Yum! I made these for my kids so I left out the hot sauce and beer and just added a little bar-b-q rub with the seasoned salt. Big hit with the whole family! Fried meat – nothing better!

Wow. These look amazing. Would you fry them straight out of the freezer, or thaw them first?

I just finished eating these, and they are AMAZING! My family raved over them. This is surely one that will be made again!

Every time I go home to Boise to visit my family I make sure to grab an order- I grew up on these! Thanks for sharing the recipe so I can make them in VA, too!

Just made these for lunch for my farmer husband and right hand son. Huge hit! Thanks for the recipe. I’ve made something similar but the flavor was flat compared to these. Easy and tasty. Who could ask for more?

Oh My!! Steak fingers and fries! These are soooo good. They brought back memories of visiting with friends at the DQ while we munched on them. Just add that creamy gravy with fresh ground, black pepper.
