A very easy Filipino dish with simple ingredients.
Heat olive oil in saucepan. Fry diced potatoes and carrots until tender. Remove fried vegetables from pan and set aside.
Using same pan, saute garlic and onion, then add ground beef. Pour water in and bring to a boil. Add soy sauce and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
Return fried vegetables to pan. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

The picture for Filipino Picadillo included peas. However, the recipe didn’t mention peas. Where does it say to add peas in your recipe?
