Description

This is a very rich recipe. Be sure to get a good workout prior to eating this!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Fettucine Noodles (1-pound)
  • 1 block Cream Cheese (8 Ounce Block)
  • 1 stick Butter (4 Ounces)
  • 1 pint Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 bag Parmesan Cheese (1 1/2 Cups)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley

Preparation

Boil pasta and drain.

To make sauce, let cream cheese sit at room temperature for a short time to soften it up. Melt cream cheese and butter in pan over low heat. Stir often. Add whipping cream until all are well blended. Add milk and parmesan cheese. Once all are combined well, add lemon juice and parsley.

Serve over drained pasta, or tortellini, or any kind of pasta you like.

Very rich and yummy!

I got it from a friend in college and it’s always a special treat to have this one in our family! Love it with a good Caesar salad!

I’ve tried a lot of Alfredo sauces and this is the best homemade one I’ve found! It’s fantastic!!

Delicious. I added shrimp. There was a lot of sauce, so I cooked more fettucine to help soak it up.
