After trying many, many recipes for pizza crust over the years, this is the one I currently use. We love it! Sometimes I replace some of the white flour for wheat, and it is still delicious!
Mix yeast, sugar, and water and let sit 1-2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, using enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead a few times.
Roll out on a large greased cookie sheet that has been sprinkled with cornmeal. (I use two pans and make 2 pizzas that are about 10-12″ across.) Poke dough all over with a fork.
Bake at 475 for about 5-7 minutes. Remove from oven and spread with sauce. Add cheese and your favorite toppings and bake for 10-12 more minutes or till crust is golden and cheese is melted.
