Probably the easiest thing you will ever make. Ever.
Trim all fat from the pork shoulder.
Place chopped onion in your slow cooker. Put pork on top and add 1/2 cup of the barbecue sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray’s). Do not mix.
Cover and cook on High setting for 8 hours.
After 8 hours, drain most of the liquid. I usually leave in about a half cup so the meat doesn’t dry out. Using 2 forks, pull the meat apart. Place back in your slow cooker, stir in remaining sauce, and cook on Low setting for 1 1/2-2 hours more.
Serve on toasted rolls and add more sauce if you need. Delish!
