Description

The Best Macaroni and Cheese Your Microwave Ever Made!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (dry) Whole Wheat Macaroni Noodles
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Dry Mustard
  • ¼ teaspoons White Pepper
  • 5 drops Red Pepper Sauce
  • 1-½ cup Skim Milk
  • 2 cups Reduced Fat Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • ½ cups Bread Crumbs

Preparation

1) Boil noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

2) Meanwhile, melt 3 tbsp butter in microwave in casserole dish, blend in flour, salt, mustard, pepper, and pepper sauce. Stir in milk.

3) Microwave on high for 6 minutes (or until thickened), stirring every 2 minutes. Stir in cheese until well blended.

4) Stir breadcrumbs into remaining 3 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle on casserole.

5) Microwave for 5 minutes at 70% power.
