This is a great recipe when you are in the mood for Mexican, tired of just plain tacos, and need to be able to throw it together easily. This is one of our family favorites that is fun to serve (with toppings so everyone can pick what they want) and fun to eat!
Brown and drain hamburger meat. Add refried beans and taco seasoning and stir to combine; set aside.
In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soups and sour cream. Pour half of the soup mixture into a 13 x 9 inch casserole dish. Layer as many tortillas as needed to cover the soup. Place hamburger mixture on top of tortillas and cover with another layer of tortillas. Top with remaining soup mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle with cheese. Return to the oven for 5 minutes or until melted.
We usually serve this buffet-style with lots of toppings that people can put on top and eat it with tortilla chips. Ideas for toppings include: cut up lettuce, tomatoes, onions, salsa, sour cream, olives, extra shredded cheese, guacamole, whatever sounds good!

Made this tonight for dinner. I tweaked it a bit. Only had 1lb of hamburger, so I adjusted the sauce down by using one can of soup, and about 1 1/4 cups of sour cream. I still made it in a 13×9. I served it with shredded lettuce and salsa. We really enjoyed – it is being added to our regular meals recipe file. Thank you for sharing this recipe. It tasted similar to a TacoBell mexican pizza without the crunch of the fried tortilla.
