This crockpot Mississippi pot roast is so tender and flavorful. With only 5 ingredients needed, this recipe is easy as well as economical. The meat is great with potatoes, in sandwiches, or by itself.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat then mix in the au jus and dressing mix. Add this into the crockpot with the pepperoncini peppers and roast (no need to salt the pot roast prior). Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Pull meat apart with two forks and serve with potatoes or in a sandwich.
